independent for its large deposits and abundant natural resources and trade,
particularly with the United States.
The population density, 3.3 inhabitants per square kilometer
is among the lowest in the world. The most densely populated part of the
country is the area of Quebec City and Windsor corridor, (located in southern
Quebec and Ontario) at the shores of the Great Lakes and the St. Lawrence
River.
Canada has a long coastline, east, north and west, has eight
distinct forest regions, including extensive area on the Canadian Shield taiga.
The vastness and variety of geography, ecology, vegetation and topography of
Canada, resulting in a wide variety of climates throughout the country. Also
because of its large size, Canada has more lakes than any other country, so it
also contains much of the fresh water reserves in the world. There are also
fresh-water glaciers which in the Coast Mountains and the Rocky Mountains.
The average temperature in winter and summer varies by
location. Winters can be harsh in many regions of the country, especially in
the interior provinces and prairie, where a continental climate is experienced.
For its vastness, the country has a varied topography and
important climatic differences, which favors a diverse flora and fauna. Much of
the Canadian territory is covered by forests of timber, highlighting cedar,
pine and maple; there are areas dominated by broad meadows. The fauna is very
similar to that of Asia and Northern Europe, which can be found among many
carnivores, bears, wolves, cougars, coyotes, etc. In the Arctic wildlife is typical
of tundra and dwell therein variety of seals and polar bears, while in the
flora lichens and mosses predominate. In some regions may be hedgehogs, moles
and beavers and numerous rodents. Some areas of Canada are also home to
reindeer, elk and antelope.
Canada's culture has been influenced by the traditions and
customs of the French, English and Indian cultures. Across the country, you can
find several ways, linguistic, artistic and musical distinctive cultural
expressions each region.
Aside from the indigenous Canadian culture has been greatly
influenced by immigrants from around the world, that is why most people
perceive Canada as a multicultural nation.

Day 1 Spain / Toronto
Departure flight to Toronto. Rest of the day. We recommend
visiting the Entertainment district, between the King and Queen streets, most
dynamic place in Toronto nightlife, the upscale neighborhood of Yorkville or
the port area, with its vibrant activity.
Day 2 Toronto / Niagara (125 km)
Breakfast. Panoramic tour of this city, the largest in
Canada and financial center, the Old and New Town Hall (stop), University
Avenue, the provincial parliament (stop), the distinguished Yorkville district
and Chinatown, second largest in Canada. Photo stop to admire the CN Tower from
the outside, the tallest freestanding structure in the world with 553.33 m.
Then we will go to Niagara-on-the-Lake. We will have one hour to stroll along
its main street before continuing to Niagara by the panoramic road along the
river of the same name. Also take a trip aboard the Hornblower * "will
lead us to the foot of the shoe that form the famous waterfalls. (Optional
buffet lunch at a restaurant overlooking the falls). Free time in the night to
visit the illuminated falls.
Day 3 Falls / Thousand Islands / Ottawa (530 km)
Breakfast. We leave early in the TransCanada Highway to
Ottawa, with a stop at a "Truck Stop" where truckers stop for
pictures of these giant vehicles. Continue to the Thousand Islands area, one of
the most beautiful in the country, where we take a one hour ride by boat to
admire their mansions in the birth of the San Lorenzo River. Continue to the
capital. Optional dinner.
Day 4 Ottawa / Quebec (439 km)
Breakfast. Continuing the tour of the city: the Cathedral,
the residence of the Prime Minister, the Governor-General who represents Queen
Elizabeth II and the Rideau Canal. During the months of July and August will
witness the changing of the guard on Parliament Hill. Outside of July and
August, we will visit walk from Parliament Hill. Departure for Quebec across
the Ottawa River. Accommodation and free time. Optional dinner at the
restaurant Le Grand.
Day 5 Quebec
Breakfast. We suggest an optional excursion where you can
discover the enchanting Island of Orleans, where you can observe the boiling of
these farmers and their beautiful villages, the Costa de Beaupre their true
path and old farmhouses, the Grand Canyon of Santa Ana with its beautiful
waterfall in a natural setting. The Montmorency Falls with its 83 meters high
are higher than Niagara. A tour of contrasts that will surely satisfy the most
demanding. Optional lunch at Sant-Angelo Tarttoria. In the afternoon, visit the
oldest city in the country, the walled city, upper and lower, Plaza de Armas,
the Plains of Abraham also called Battlegrounds, Cape Diamond, the Promenade
des Gouverneurs, Royal Plaza and the Parliament of the province.
6th Quebec
Breakfast. Free day. Optionally recommend a whale watching
excursion to Tadoussac. (Output in a northerly direction along the coast of the
San Lorenzo River to reach the village of Tadoussac. Upon reaching the
confluence of the Saguenay River will take a boat trip 3 hours for whale
watching). Return to Quebec.
Day 7 Quebec / La Maurice / Montreal (290 km)
Breakfast. This morning we went to this legendary region.
Visit a museum where they learn about the life of legendary lumberjack and hard
work. We continue trip to Montreal, known for its fine cuisine and nightlife
city. Upon arrival, we will begin the visit: the Olympic stadium (stop), the
Biodome, the French Quarter, St-Laurent Street, the main city with its many
restaurants, the neighborhood of the Golden Square Mile Montreal where today is
the famous McGill University, the elegant Westmount, the Oratorio San Jose. The
park of Monte Real, where we stop at the viewpoint of lovers. On the way to see
the neighborhood Old Montreal Le Plateau Mont Royal, one of the most popular.
The Plaza de Armas (stop), where the Basilica of Notre Dame de Montreal.
Cartier Square and the City of Montreal. (Optional lunch). Rest of the day.
Day 8 Montreal / Spain
Breakfast. Free time until the transfer to the airport for
your flight back to Spain. Overnight on board.
